About P.R. Ramer

Hello and welcome to my website. I’m P.R. Ramer. I’m an artist currently working primarily in photography and poetry, but as time goes on, I expect to explore more artistic forms, as curiosity and learning are weaved into the fabric of my personality. As for my artistic training, it consists of formal training in photography (an Associate of Applied Science in Photography from Spokane Falls Community College) and a mix of formal training and autodidactic study in writing. Beyond the work I publish here, I also contribute to the work of peers, sometimes creatively and sometimes in support roles. A couple of selected artists that I have helped over the years include Brian Deemy and Frances Grace Mortel. I also try to volunteer my time every year at my alma mater’s annual large-scale location photography and filmmaking event to help the students who are taking on challenges similar to the ones I did years ago.

Now that I’ve given you a little about me, let me tell you about my website. At present, my website is focused primarily around my blog and portfolios. You can read my latest writing straight from the home page or focus on specific topics or selected works by selecting from the blog categories. Here I publish new art, discuss technique and craft, and share thoughts and commentary. To see a showcase of my work, you can have a look at any of my portfolios. Ultimately, if you would like to get in touch with me, use the contact page and fill out the form. (This goes straight to my email inbox.)

I hope you have a good time here and come back, and if you ever want to get in touch, just reach out. I am sure I will be glad to hear from you. Thank you.

-P.R.
