You never know when something is going to catch your eye––at least I never do. A simple walk from work to my car turned into a photo opportunity. Surely, some people wondered what could that person be taking pictures of. I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity as I took the last pictures on my phone before it was full and could take no more. A momentary pause in the mundanity of everyday life left me with something lovely to carry forward. Think of the beauty that we could find in our lives if we were open to see it. Surely, others too could see beauty in their wet asphalt.
